Chelsea was previously the 2011-2012 Outreach Advisor and the former president and founder of Team HBV at Brown University. She graduated from Brown with a double major in Biology and History of Art & Architecture. Currently, she works as a research assistant and studies hepatocellular carcinoma at the Liver Research Center of Rhode Island Hospital. After collaborating with Asian community organizations in Providence, she became aware of the lack of understanding about HBV. She is dedicated to Team HBV, which works to bridge these gaps. During her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, visiting museums, and drawing.

Andrew is a junior at Cornell University, majoring in China & Asia-Pacific Studies with a minor in Health Policy. His academic interest in public health started with an internship at the NYU Center for Study of Asian American Health, where he conducted research and organized outreach efforts on hepatitis B and other health disparities affecting Asian and Asian American communities in New York City. Andrew was VP of Outreach at Team HBV Cornell and most recently completed an internship at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, where he assisted with the health policy portfolio.

Gerry is a junior at UC Berkeley studying biology. At Cal, he teaches the Team HBV Decal and works with the chapter to spread awarenessabout hepatitis B. Generally if not studying he can be found in the library quietly dreaming about the future when our lawmakers create a concrete plan to tackle hepatitis B. Otherwise, he enjoys reading the newspaper, imagining himself as one of many squirrels and exploring his environment from the perspective of his little blue bicycle.

Originally from Beijing, China, Julia Zang is a junior student at UC Berkeley with a psychology major. When she studied in De Anza College, a community college in the Bay Area, from 2011-2012, she contributed to the founding of Team HBV there and worked as the VP of Campus Outreach. Concerned about the low awareness of Hepatitis B, she strives to integrate Team HBV Collegiate Chapters with the local communities to make more people informed of this viral disease. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, listening to music, and traveling.

Chris is a junior at Cornell University, studying general Biological Sciences and conducting independent research projects in a microevolution ecology lab. Having worked with Team HBV at Cornell since the beginning of his college career, Chris has since realized the immense good that can be done through HBV outreach. In his free time, Chris enjoys reading, cooking, and running when the weather permits.
