2015-2016:
HBV Awareness Day :
Annual Hepatitis B Awareness Day – The entire school was encouraged to wear jade/green attire for that day. Jade colored candy, baked goods, and accessories were sold, raising over $300! Informational fliers, posters, and stickers were handed out, and a trivia game was hosted in the cafeteria during lunch.
2014-2015:
HBV Awareness Day :
We baked goods, jade color hair ties, and jade color candies were sold and there was a trivia game where winners received goodie bags. Fliers with facts and information about Hepatitis B were handed out and distributed. Everyone was encouraged to wear a green/jade colored shirt instead of the uniform. All funds were donated to the Asian Liver Center.
2013-2014:
HBV Awareness Day:
Students and faculty wore various shades of green and jade to support the Jade Liver Campaign. ALC merchandise was sold and the club raised over $300 in one day. Hepatitis B trivia was held at lunch and informative brochures and stickers were handed out.
Movie Night:
A collaborative event between Castilleja Team HBV and Castilleja American Cancer Society .
