Spring 2015 Events

Every year Team HBV chapters far and wide celebrate Hepatitis B Awareness Week (HBAW) by hosting daily events and activities. HBAW at UC Berkeley is being held this year from April 6-10, 10am to 2pm on Upper Sproul Plaza!

Be on the look out for our table and members actively sharing their knowledge on a misunderstood and largely underrepresented disease! We’ll be out all week with goodies in hand! 🙂

Fifth and Last General Meeting this spring

Wednesday, April 17, 2013 – 7:00 – 8:00 PM in 101 Wheeler – All-out HBAW preparation event. We will be making plushie D.I.Y. kits, finishing plushies, making props for our photobooth, and preparing anything that will be needed during our Hepatitis B Awareness Week (April 22-26th)!

HBAW Work Parties:

1st work party: Friday, April 19th, 6-10pm in 228 Dwinelle

2nd work party: Saturday, April 20th, 11-5pm, in Unit 1, Cheney’s main lounge (ground floor)

Saturday, March 16, 2013 – A whole day of teaching kids and their family about hepatitis B in the form of a liver poster board and three “vaccination” balls!
