Nethra Madhav
Board Co-Chair
My name is Nethra and I am a senior at University Preparatory Academy. I first got involved with the JoinJade movement when I founded a Team HBV chapter in 2020, and currently am co-president. In my free time I enjoy going on walks, spending time with family, playing piano, and Chinese calligraphy. I attended the 19th and 20th Youth Leadership conferences, and was a guest speaker at the 21st Youth Leadership Conference to present my work as a 2023 Join Jade Ambassador! I am thrilled to be serving as co-chair of the high school advisory board this school year. I love being a part of the movement and helping with healthcare advocacy. My hope for this year is that we can increase our impact and make stronger connections across the chapters. I’m excited to meet everyone, and for all that we will be able to do this year!

Hi! My name is Diana Nguyen and I’m a current senior at Oxford Academy in Southern California. I’m so excited to be serving as your 2024-2025 Co-Chair! My involvement with TeamHBV started back in 2022 when I participated in the Youth Leadership Conference, and this will be my fourth leadership role within the organization. I love taking photos, going shopping, working out, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m looking forward to working on the High School Advisory Board this year and seeing all the progress this team will make!
Miranda Xu
Events & Interchapter Manager
Hello everyone! My name is Miranda Xu and I’ll be serving as the Events and Interchapter manager for Team HBV HSAB this year! I am a junior from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and I’m the current co-president of the Team HBV chapter there! Outside of school and TeamHBV, I enjoy playing the violin, traveling the world, and playing basketball. So excited to be on the HSAB this year and I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish!
Camille Chu
Outreach Advisor
Hi, I’m Camille! I am a sophomore at the Nueva School. I am super excited to work with everyone as the Outreach Advisor on the Team HBV Youth Advisory Board. I am passionate about leadership and community advocacy through creative mediums such as legislative action, public speaking, writing, art, and scientific research. In my free time, I love to play music (harp) and read science fiction novels. As part of the board, I hope to spearhead the establishment of new Team HBV chapters and create more partnerships with local organizations!
Colin Chu
Web & Media Manager
Hi, everyone! My name is Colin Chu, and I’m a student at The Nueva School. I’ve been involved with the Stanford Asian Liver Center and TeamHBV since 2016. I am very passionate about advocating for HBV screening and treatment, and have been a speaker at multiple Youth Leadership Conferences. In addition to serving as web & media manager, I look forward to spearheading the Board’s policy efforts this year. In my free time, I enjoy playing water polo and the French horn.
Maggie Zhang
Resources Manager
Hi everyone! My name is Maggie Zhang and I’m a current junior at Mountain View High School in California. I’m excited to be serving as Resource Manager for the 2024-2025 TeamHBV HSAB! I’ve been involved in TeamHBV since 2022 after attending the YLC and I was a member of the Newsletter Committee this past school year. I love teaching and performing ballet, playing piano, listening to movie soundtracks, and going to the beach with my dog. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the board and serving everyone this coming year!
